About Raven Jackson, LMHC, CPC
Hello! My name is Raven Jackson. People know me as a gardener, friend, sister, aunt, Girl Scout leader, and daughter.
My role as a Therapist is something I hold close to me. At the age of 9 years old, I knew my purpose revolved around studying the behavior of humans. How we survive, adapt, and what drives us.
I studied psychology at Valdosta State University (Go Blazers), then continued my studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Old Dominion University.
Here’s what’s interesting — I almost dropped out of my master program with one more year left. My masters program left me burned out, and I questioned if therapy was really the path for me. I was navigating change in housing, work difficulties, and relationship transitions. It made me question the very thing I have always felt so sure about.
My purpose didn’t go too far, because I decided that coaching was the next best step for me. In that process, I have learned that being a facilitator of growth-centered conversations is my purpose. I committed to the 10-month program with iPEC and achieved my coaching certification in 2023. During that time, I was sharing my woes with a mentor of mine at the time, and he begged me to just finish out my therapy program.
Thank God for him, because after weathering the storm of school, I remembered why I loved therapy.
I now get the privilege of helping people who have gone through similar transitions: Those who are on the path to their purpose and grounded well-being.
I love helping and witnessing people through difficult seasons and transitions, and seeing them evolve.

Working with me
I have a small, intimate office in the Jacksonville/Springfield area. I have been told that I have a warm, grounding, and affirming therapeutic presence.
I ask questions to gain insight about you and to help you understand yourself better. I collaborate with you to gather insight about you. I am present-moment focused, and challenge my clients to be mindful.
Our first session looks like having a conversation about you and getting to know you. I believe it takes time to get to know my clients and I don’t want to assume I know you. I believe my clients hold the answers they need. I am here to ask the right questions for them to come out! In this first session I ask deep and insightful questions and get to know your lifestyle, your relationship with yourself and others.
