What We Offer
-
Life has a way of changing who we are. I offer space to navigate the uncertainty, grief, growth, and identity shifts that come with becoming someone new. We help those navigating life circumstances such as career changes, changes in family dynamics, and burnout. We specialize in sitting in the in-between and finding clarity on the other side of change.
-
Sometimes you know you're struggling, but you can't quite explain why. This is a space to slow down, make sense of what you're feeling, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. We help those who may struggle with unexplained anger, unsolicited tears, and the guilt that suffocates.
-
Our relationships can bring out the deepest parts of us. Therapy can help you understand your patterns, communicate more honestly, strengthen your boundaries, and build relationships that feel more aligned with who you are. We help people love without abandoning themselves, attach without disappearing, and connect without self-sabotaging.
-
What happened to you can shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you—but it doesn't have to define who you become. We’ll create space to process what you've carried and reconnect with the parts of yourself that are still here. We will navigate life after trauma and integrate wellness practices to quiet intrusive thoughts and shame, and an over- or underactive nervous system.
-
When your mind won't slow down, it can be difficult to feel grounded in yourself. Together, we can explore what your anxiety is trying to tell you and build a deeper sense of safety and self-trust.
-
We create space for teens (12-17 years old) who:
Have difficulties with self-expression
Struggle with their self-esteem
Have a hard time making friends
Want to navigate how to make friends
Are preparing for adulthood (life after high school)
Get stuck in perfectionism loops
The Living Fig practices integrative and holistic mental health care. We use therapeutic approaches that help us move below the surface and work towards the core of your pain to truly understand and create sustainable and lasting change.
We are experienced in helping adults through the following life circumstances:
How to Start your journey
Free 15-minute consultation
Every garden begins with a seed. This brief conversation is a chance to share what’s bringing you here, explore what you’re looking for, and see if The Living Fig feels like the right place for your growth.
80-minute holistic assessment
Before we can tend to a garden, we need to understand the soil. Together, we’ll look at your story, experiences, relationships, patterns, strengths, and the parts of yourself that may need care.
Treatment Planning
Growth becomes more intentional when we know what we’re tending toward. We’ll identify the areas you want to nurture and create a therapeutic plan that reflects your needs, values, and vision for yourself.
The work
This is where the real tending begins. Through therapy, reflection, somatic exploration, and meaningful practice, we’ll nurture what’s growing, care for what’s wounded, and make space for who you’re becoming.
Investment
-
For new self-pay clients, the first step is an 80-minute holistic assessment. This gives us space to slow down, understand the bigger picture, and begin identifying what you need from therapy. Clients utilizing insurance will have a standard 60 minute assessment covered by their plan.
-
Ongoing individual therapy sessions are 60 minutes and are designed around your goals, needs, and therapeutic process.
-
90-minute sessions are available for clients who need additional time and space for deeper therapeutic work. Extended sessions may be especially helpful when exploring complex experiences, processing significant transitions, or when a little more room is needed to slow down and tend to what is coming up.

The Living Fig currently accepts BCBS, Aetna and Cigna for eligible services. A limited number of sliding-scale spaces are also available for clients who qualify.
